I got my new bow yesterday.

I got a Z7 Xtreme

QAD Ultra HD rest (camo)
Tru Glo Extreme sight
All the other fixins

Tru Fire release
Easton Epic arrows
Shuttle broadheads

Then spent a little time with Stan getting it set up. What a great group Smithfield is and what a dream bow this is to have. Comign from an old 10-15 year old hand me down PSE bow to this is not even comparable.

Anyone have any good suggestions on getting the other 4 pins sighted in right? I only have the 20yd pin sighted in.

My starter was free, my wifes uncle handed it down to me. smile

I was NOT going to spend any money on a bow to start because I was not sure I wanted to do it or would like it or not. After using this hand me down for a couple years, I realized I liked it and was going to go to the top of the list and get the best of the best (IMO).

Check the local pawn shops. Can probably pick up a rigged, ready to shoot bow for well under $200.

A little late doing this but I have to thank REDGUN for helping me sight in my bow on Sunday. Got it sighted in for the most part for my 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 yard pins. Had a good time and met another fella named Johnny. Really great guys. I really appreciate it.

You can't go wrong with the folks at Smithfield Archery some of the BEST people around! They got me setup with my bow and yes Stan is the best for helping you understand ALL about what your are doing and not doing and why and so on and so on. Give them a try and you will under stand why so many of us Love them. As far as the sight go with the one that you feel works best for you...

REDGUN helped me get it sighted in but I was not comfortable with the speed it was shooting at the range so I tightened it down carefully to match both ends and upped the draw weight so I get to have him help me again Wednesday. Get to start all over again but that is OK, it is fun shooting.

I love it so far. Hope to shoot something in the near future (hog).
