I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with live stock feed for deer my buddy says it's high in protein and it's what he feeds cattle and it's around 5 dollars a bag vs 14 for deer chow I'm on a budget and lookin for a quality supplement that will not break the bank he was telling about "all stock feed" it's 12% any input would be helpful thanks

I used all stock last season. Had deer coming to it when they wouldn't come to the corn feeders but don't know how it stands up to anything else.

WHere can you get this stuff for $5.00/bag? I am paying $8.00/bag for 20 % half inch range cubes and that is buying a ton. I want it to feed livestock, not deer. Nothing real cheap about any type of feed right now. Maybe I am just shopping in the wrong places.

I've fed the Stocker type feed before. About 20% - 25% less than deer protein, but it has no moisture resistance at all. If it gets wet, it's over. Good for applications like a backyard trough type feeder or some place where you can go feed often.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.
