Tital says it all. I am tired of buying the latest and greates $200-$350 IR camera. Waste of money. I have $100 to spend on a game cam, what should I buy?

Like a scratch off ticket, a couple of winners and a lot of losers by each manufacturer.

I've had some good luck with cheap moultries and bad luck with some. Many people are having good luck with Primos. For a couple bucks more, the Cuddeback, but again you are looking at the sub 100 game. I give the nod to Primos for the time being.

Also, you may be able to find some discount pricing on 2010 models that retail over 100, but deeply discounted as the manufacturers release the 2011 models.

Thanks for your input. I have decided I am going to try the Wildview Extreme 5. Of all the types we have bought in the last 6 years we have had our best luck with Stealthcam and they make the Wildview. We already have a Stealthcam extermal battery pack that we can use with it. I like the simplicity of the setup. I like the fact that only the bottom half of the case opens up (besides numerous other problems with our 2 Bushnell TCs we had one that water got into from the top of the door gasket). I have done a lot of WEB research and it seems no mater what Mfg/model you choose half the people hate it and half love it. Many people rave about how great the Bushnell TCs are and I wouldn't give you a plug nicle for 6 of them. Well that's not entirely true, I could sell them to the 50% that love them if I got them for a plug nickle.

I would have to agree with the Primos. I have 3 on my deer lease and my buddy has one fancy 300 trail cam. it takes great pics but i can scout 3x more area than he can for the same place. plus, i think they are still on sale at cabela's right now.

Pick any one of them at that price and you might get a great one or get a POS. They are all made to be replaced IMO for that price.

I have several Moultrie D50 and overall, they work pretty good for the money. If it fails, just send it back to Moultrie or take it back to where you bought it and get it replaced.

$89 Wildview. Been going for 2 yrs now without a bobble. Good pic quality too. A little hungry for batteries.

I have 4 or 5 stealthcam i540's they work good for us and will take 2-3 thousand pictures on a charge of the 12 battery pack. If you put a solar charger on it more.

I have two of the primes cams set out. I have had no problems. But, check out camofire.com today. They have a game cam on sale.

Your football knowledge. Let's talk about Jim Tressel. He had the guts to throw Clarett off the team when he got in trouble for an offense that many other coaches would have over looked. In 2002 Ohio State would have killed Iowa. They couldn't even beat Iowa State FFS. And James Laurinitis, and Malcolm Jenkins, arguably two of his best players ever, were both 3 star recruits, and he pulled them from out of state. Jim Tressel, and his 4 BCS bowl wins, and his 7 big ten titles are probably underrated. He really is one of the best coaches of all time. Consider this, Iowa has 4 more Big Ten titles than he does, over 100+ years of football. He has only been coaching at Ohio State 10.

I have been watching him for 10 years now, and he has coached 3 bad games. 2006 title game, the game that Iowa smoked OSU(I think 04) and the 2008 USC game.

As for NFL coaches, it would be easy to pick on Rex Ryan, but I really do think he is a good coach. Right now the coaches that are getting the praise deserve it.
