Anyone hunt in this area? It stretches from Evant north to just south of Hamilton and westward to around Star.
We hunted it quite a few years ago and looks like we might be getting back down that way again and are pretty excited about it. Just curious how the management and the results have been over the past 6-8 years or so.

My son killed a 10 point with 18 inch spread just outside of Shive between Evant and Hamilton..Scored 139 3/8..Other nice ones were taken that we seen at the taxi here in Hamilton..

Great area ,Father n law used to hunt in and around there in the early 90's . Back then he killed some real nice deer . Good luck

I hunt 8 miles west of Evant, we are on a property that participates in the Vista Mountain Wildlife association. I have hunted there for 10 years, it's pretty good. We see good bucks every year.
