Love it. Lots of bang in a little package.

Can't recall the exact amounts...but 40, and 45 are about 5 grns each with lead rounds. 7000grns per pound=about 1400 rds per pound.

burns pretty clean too.

oh yeah, measures very accurate in my Lee powder throwers (both the stand alone and the turret mounted one.

All I use for my .45 ACP's and some loads in .38 and .357. Meters nice and you get a LOT of rounds per pound out of it. Good stuff. Haven't tried it in .40 yet.

Bullseye is good powder and has been around a long, long time. Just remember, though, if you choose to use it: probably more handguns have been blown to smithereens with Bullseye than any other powder because of the ease of overlooking a double-charge. Inspect, inspect, and re-inspect! Then seat.

VERY good point right there. Gotta pay attention, if there is ANY doubt at all, disassemble and redo.

I use it, but I don't have the double charge problem, here's why:
I only have a single stage press, so I start with one step and run all my brass through that step before moving on. Clean all brass, deprime and resize all brass, reprime all brass etc. But once I get to the charging and bullet seating step, I switch gears and do them one cartridge at a time. Once all my brass is prepped and reprimed, I take one case, load powder charge and immediately move to the press and seat a bullet, then it goes in the box. I assume some people prep their brass, reprime, then charge all cases in a loading block, then seat bullets in each case, but my way I don't overcharge, and I don't miss any cases and end up with a squib load either. It's just how I do it, may take a little longer, but it works for me and gives me that extra sense of safety.

I get your point, but I doubt that very much.
