I had a client call last night and tell me that she is looking to re-home a yellow lab that she got a few months back. She took the dog from a friend so that the dog didnt wind up at the pound and she has decided that this dog is just too much to handle. She brought the dog to me when she first got him for a month of obedience training. His obedience is solid but I would guess that he probably needs some work. This dog has incredible drive to retrieve and would undoubtedly make a fine hunting dog in the right hands.

His name is Tank. He is full blooded but she does not have the papers on him and doesn't think she could get them from the previous owner. He is a normal light yellow color and probably weighs in at around 65 pounds. This dog is a very high energy dog and will require a home that is willing to exercise him on a regular basis or he is going to go crazy and will likely become destructive.

Please email me with your interest. I am going to make sure this dog gets the right home or I am going to take him myself, train him, and sell him as a hunting dog. Again, this dog will need daily exercise and only homes that intend to use him as a working dog will be considered. This dude has got the go, he just needs to focus it in the right direction. Please shoot me a PM or email if you are interested. I will be at a hunt test all weekend so it may be Sunday evening/Monday morning before I get back to you.

Thanks for the help guys.

I will be in BCS. I think I have 3 senior and 4 junior dogs running each day.

Good luck on Saturday. How is Dixie doing?

Instead of redneck or hillbilly. I prefer to be called an "Appalachian-American."

She did great this weekend at BCS. Got her Senior title on Saturday and passed the senior test on Sunday as well. My wife was really impressed with the grounds at BCS. Zack what did you think?

Very nice grounds. Which senior flight was she in? What is the dogs name? My dogs went 13 for 14. I had one junior dog go down today but it was a good weekend

Senior B both days, her name is Dixie (yellow lab about 62lbs). My youngest dog Sugar (what a nut) got a junior pass today, but failed on Saturday. Apparently, she was so jacked up when the first mark was thrown she actually did a 360 behind the holding blind. I wasn't there, but had to have my wife draw me a picture. Great job Zack, I bet you and your clients were happy.

I have been really impressed. Zack got my female Dixie her JH title last weekend. Wished I didn't have to work weekend so much, I would have liked to see it. Oh well, Senior tests this spring will be here before I know it.
