Heading out to ranger hill in the morning, wanted to know if anyone has been hunting around there the last week or so....

I will be just East of you along Hwy 16 this weekend. Hopefully there are comming to the calls. How did it go???

oaks, not very well, This place i hunt at the base of ranger hill has always been hopping in the afternoons, so i get down there friday about 1130, stayed till about 6 and didnt hear a dang thing. Still enjoyed being out there but a little dissapointing that i didnt even hear a far off gobble. But thats why hey call it hunting and not killing!

That is not good news. You're right it's nice just being out there and that's why they call it hunting and not killing.
