 question - TFF / THF scholarship

I met a doctor recently who is traveling the country lecturing and promoting the importance of introducing kids to hunting. He is extremely passionate ... and may be over the top for some, but his heart is in the right place and I believe his message is a good one.
His wife is having medical problems and I believe it has strained them financially.
I want to know what y'all would think of awarding him the scholarship.
Out of respect to him, I'm not mentioning his name. At this point all I can do is ask that you trust my instincts that he is a good choice as a recipient.
Please voice your opinions.

If you think he is a good one, then do it....
