I recently got a new lease and had to move 2 4x8 box blinds and a 4x8 tower blind. Being 2 old men and having moved these blinds several times on our old lease and remembering the back pains after the moves I came up with a better method this time. I had some left over 5'x 1 5/8" pipe from making some crank up feeders and cut 4 pieces of pipe just a little shorter than the width of my 5'x10' utility trailer. I used a 6' steel pry bar under one end of the 4x8 blind and raised it high enough to get a floor jack under a floor joist and jacked that end up high enough to back the trailer under the edge of the blind. We then placed the pieces of pipe across the width of the trailer about 18" apart. We both got behind the blind and started pushing the blind up on the trailer. As soon as the front edge of the blind hit the first piece of pipe the blind started rolling like it was on casters, you could push it with one hand. Once we got it to the front of the trailer we pried the back edge up with the pry bar and removed the pipe. We reversed the process to remove the blinds from the trailer. The pipes even worked on the ground to position the blinds.
Just thought I would share this idea with some of you old guys that, like me, have a bad back and share it with some of you young whipper snappers that don't want to have a bad back when you are our age. clap
