If you're thinking of having a TRUE handmade custom knife built for you, you can't go wrong with this guy.

He's a class act all the way. I've never dealt with anyone who was so willing to go the extra mile to make absolutely sure than his customer was satisfied.

The knife he made me is beautiful and sharp enough to embarrass a straight razor

This man makes every piece of his knives and the final product is truly amazing

Love his designs. I've been waiting for the right one to come up for sale.

Yessir...I just got one made as a upcoming Birf-day present from my wife (saved her some shopping...and me some returning)

He is awesome...beautiful knife...quick turnaround...class act all the way. I'm trying to get 2 of my buddies to get one from him as well. And yeah...they are REALLY sharp...HIGHLY recommend MikeC

How about a wide belly skinner with CPM-S35-VN stainless blade and Black Linen Micarta scales with red liners and Mosaic pins?
It's at the sheath makers right now but as soon as I get it back I'll be putting it in the classifieds.

mike made me this one... he made it exactly as asked, with the exact type of steel, handle material, pins, grind, edge, filework and blade profile that i asked for.

Can't remember the last time i've been as happy with a purchase

Everytime I see a new one I like some elements of it so my perfect knife keeps changing. I keep thinking I'll know it when I see it. I really like the damascus with mesquite handles that you've done in the past.

No sir, all of these are with their new owners.
But I have a similar blade on the bench in the shop right now. It will have Mesquite Burl scales too but no file work as it's already been heat treated.

All of these are awesome looking. #2 is my favorite, but I might prefer a slightly more rounded end on the blade.
