Hi All,
beginning my search for a trip this fall for either a Fallow or Sika deer. I am looking for something to take my father who just made 70. He shoots a rifle but I shoot a bow so hoping that I can find a hunt that will accomidate both of us. Maybe a 2-3 day hunt? Somewhere close to El Paso as we will be driving from California. Not looking for a monster but just something nice that he can hang on his wall. As far as myself I am am kind of a meat hunter so even just does works for me.

I would get in touch with "mulie_mike".....he is the only person I know of that might know about exotic hunts in the El Paso area. There typically is not much in that area, but if there is any I'm sure he will know.

You might look around Del Rio as well.....there are quite a few exotic hunting properties around there.

Also, have you thought about flying to San Antonio or Houston instead of driving so far?

I have some nice animals in Del Rio... Got some really Nice Fallow & Sika by Kerrville shot 5 Fallow past 2 years in Top 20.. Also have free range hunts avalible as well.. I'll be glad to help you out if you decide to come this way,have a great day..

Also, have you thought about flying to San Antonio or Houston instead of driving so far? thank you but dont really care to fly these days since the baggage cost so much and I am kind of a meat guy so I would want to make sure that I can bring all the meat.

You shouldn't have a problem bringing meat home or getting it shipped in Texas, even if you flew.
