I've got a bag of corn I want to mix with something in order to create some kind of bait. Problem is, I only have about 24 hours to let it sour.

Anyone have any idea what to throw in a 5 gallon bucket along with the corn in order to get the best possible result in such a short time?

Maybe a bunch of big red or something?

Yeast to get the fermintation going and the strong smell of yeast is quite an aroma. Make sure to mix it with warm water though to activate it.

Is it OK to eat a pig that has been feasting on diesel soaked corn?

You can also try cider vinegar with the "mother" still in it. Then add some strawberry daiquiri mix and you are in business.

raw apple cider vinegar with "the mother" in it is a cureall, (helped my high blood pressure) it should work well on corn, I use Big Red or HEB generic red soda and also beer, takes only about 3 days to stink but good!!

Plain corn works just fine.

If you were really set on fermenting it, I'd take a cup or two of sugary liquid, juice, soda, whatever, and warm it up to ~120F, add a couple tablespoons of active dry yeast, and mix it up. Put it in a warm place to do its thing.

I've used Diesel, Cheap Vodka, packets of kool-aid, big red and also imitation vanilla extract. I've always had the fastest response with diesel and or the vanilla extract.

Add a can of beer or two, fill the rest with water. Lightly cover it and place it in direct sun. It will stink before the end of the day.

Big red and strawberry or rasberry jello powder, stops em in their tracks. Leave a bread crumb trail right to you. Grab a handful and sprinkle lightly as you walk. One handful about every 15 feet.

A small amount of diesel or motor vinegar works well

Mix all of this together over a bag of deer corn! A big stinky pile of bait! And diesel does work, I'm just not the type to consider using it.

Big Red works !!! So does jello and cooking oil mixed with corn. I can't keep enough in my tubes. They will roll it all night until it's empty.
