There is a gun show in Canton this weekend, April 9 & 10. Does anyone have an opinion - have these been any good in the past? A lot of vendors or not? Average? Thank you in advance.

Although I can't say that I've been to the Canton gun show I can say that some of my best and obscure finds have been at small shows such as Sherman, Paris, Bonham, etc.
Don't get your hopes up for lot's of tables and people but you never know what you may find. My take is small shows can be good for used and older collectable guns, but if you looking for modern new guns then probably can't beat a larger show such as Dallas/Ft. Worth. Just my 2 cents.
Just got back from the Tulsa show and as always, truly amazing! What more can you ask for, worlds largest show and approx. 5 miles of tables!

I really want to go to Market Hall this weekend but I'm trying to talk myself into staying away!

I'm giving the Canton show a try. 9am-5pm on Sat, 9am-4pm on Sunday. This promoter does things a little differently and I just hope he has advertised more than the two teensy billboards I've seen in Canton itself.
Hoping East Texas folks won't want to drive all the way to Market Hall...
It's a crapshoot, betting six tables on it this weekend. There's always Big Town next weekend.

Yes, you did. This show is much smaller than the '300 tables' that were advertised to dealers. Not much crowd, but those that were there were buying and getting some pretty good deals.
Show is open 9a-4p today. If the crowd is light, I imagine the dealers will be gone by 2pm.

You too. Crowd was light but steady on Sunday. The promoter doesnt use exhibitor badges so the dealers cant really tell if its just other dealers in the aisle or not, but when nobody had come through the door in 30 minutes at 3pm we started packing out.
Still, I've had worse shows and we'll be back in Canton in July.

Did you have the 2 Kimber rifles 270wsm and 7wsm for sale? I looked at those but wound up buying a 7 ultra mag sendero.
