The author needs a math lesson - 18% to 20% would only take 4 years to double assuming compounding (which would apply).

1 x 1.2 = 1.2
1.2 x 1.2 = 1.44
1.44 x 1.2 = 1.728
1.728 x 1.2 = 2.0736

Well, if we are only killing about 24% annually and we need to be in the 60-70% range then we all have a lot of work to do. Landowners/outfitters should quit charging for ppl to come shoot them. I wont pay to shoot a pig. I know a farmer thats hates them enough that he will let anyone come kill them. Good thing is, I am one of 4 ppl that know this...And the other three are his son in laws!!!

King Ranch is over 800,000 acres. These pig myths are false because I see the numbers everyday.

I'm with you, FT; if I don't see anything when I go, I just count it as a scouting trip! Besides, it's nice to escape the rat race of the Metroplex and get some exercise in God's creation every once in a while even if you can't thin the pigs out a little.
