 im still on a roll ... bolt action rambo style

went to ok again and got some more hogs rambo style. wind was coming out of the wrong direction this time so i had to go the long way around to where i wanted to stalk. over 2 hours of slow spot and stalk through some pretty thick stuff i finally saw this group in the last pasture i wanted to check right at 7. there was about 40 yards of thicket between us and they were moving away from me. then then wind changed so i had to back out before they caught a wiff of my sweaty funk and i ran down the treeline about a hundred yards and slowly climbed through the thicket so they would be walking into me. i could have taken one shot before but i really wanted to go for the multi shot bolt action style. it was worth it. spotted hog was first. hog number two went down on a full sprint but ran away after that hogs 3 and 4 were down for the count. i was in the middle of some pretty thick stuff when 3 and 4 turned and passed in front of me at 30 yards. i picked them off as they passed between trees at full speed. suckers are quick.  time seems to be in slow motion but maybe only 10 seconds or so and i got 3 hogs and 4 rounds spent. (i know i nailed number two but never found it) starting to learn how to hunt hogs. the new Winchester 270 is a killing machine. freaking crazy rush and tripped over my balls walking out of there. coonsaw

Good shootin,' Coon; not everybody can work a bolt gun with speed and precision...which is why I hunt with ARs!

3 hogs with a bolt action!!! You may need to carry your balls in a wheel barrow to keep from tripping over them

You did it now! The first few times I hunted this way was enough to ruin me from hunting from blinds! Congrats on the pigs-good shootin'!

after cleaning hogs sat discovered hog #2 and #3 were the same. so 3 hogs shot and recovered.
spotted one tasted great.
taking a buddy to tawakoni wma this weekend. he has been 4 times with me on different pay for play places and we never saw anything. problem is shotgun only but if he can just see some he will be stoked. any suggestions for this place would be great.
