Anyone Familiar with Avery, TX?

Looking at a ~25 acre plot up there and was curious what kind of wildlife is typically in the area.
Sometimes, sheep need to be shaken, feathers need to be ruffled, and heads need to be chopped.

yea my family owned a place there when i was younger, not much for deer density. hard hunting, lot of poachers, lot of hunters chasing the same deer. good luck

I live in Avery and there's deer their, but as rebel55 said its hard hunting and not a huge deer density. I haven't had the problem with the poachers but i know there are some. There's lots of varmits as I have shot 2 bobcats and 1 coyote with my bow in the last 3 years and depending where you are in avery there are hogs as well.
