I gotta take a different view on this one. A story like that gives all the tree huggers another bullet for the chamber. It makes us all look like accidents waiting to happen.

Now... deep down inside (since she'll be OK) I kinda think she had it comin, but the big picture is that is did more harm than good for the public opinion of duck hunting.

Since we're on this topic, unless these animal rights activists are 100% vegetarian they need to STFU. Where do they think all that nice pretty meat comes from at the grocery store? It amazes me how many of them are not vegetarian. Complete hypocrites. At least what we harvest lived freely and wasn't raised for the single purpose of slaughter. Not that I have anything against agriculture - I come from a long line of ranchers and farmers - just sayin wild game lives... wild.

Duck protesters...idiots. I don't know if they have anything like DU or Delta down there but I can say this...groups like those do a more for ducks than these idiots ever will.

The article claimed that many people refer to her as a hero now. Being an idiot does not make you a hero last time I checked.

If my memory serves me correct it is illegal in most of the United States to do this. A protester can't interfere with a hunter in anyway or they will be arrested....
