I have a chance to lease a farm in north Missouri. My question is would there be enough interest in these hunts to make it work out. At the moment we're thinking about 3000-5000 this will be for a 3 day self guided hunt. You would be allowed 1 buck and 2 does. Limited lodging and guides would be available for a fee. Heres alittle history I grew up hunting this land it has exceptional deer herd there have been numborus bucks taken above 150". In the last 4 yrs there have been 200" deer taken
in a 5-10 mile radius of here.

The Hunt
1.Will be 3 days in either the 1st or second half of rifle season.
2.Will be for 1 legal buck and 1 antlerless deer.
3.You will be shown the boundaries and allowed to hunt on your own. Or for a small fee we will deliver you to your stand and will handle the field care of your game.
4.As of right now meals and lodging will not be included but were working on that.
5.The hunt will take place in Putnam County MO which is in the top 5 trophy producing counties of the state. I've included a few links for you.

Rifle season starts 11/12/11 and usually runs 11 days MDC will not announce the close date until sometime in July. Non resident licenses are as follow.

225.00 this tag is required and allows you 1 antlered buck or 1 antlerless deer.

25.00 this allows you to take one antlerless deer of either sex

We are now booking hunts we are only going to sell 6 hunts so you need to get your names on the list. It will be 1st come. You will not need a deposit to get on the list and after we have enough confirmed interest we'll require a 50% deposit.
