In all the years I have guided hunters I have had only one actually use a bipod. I have had a lot of hunters that had them on their rifles. They usually got in the way of brush or whatever and they ended taking them off before the end of the hunt. Heavy and in the way. Never figured out the purpose except to put money in someones pocket. Its a very valuable tool for those that know how and when to use one. I have killed several deer and tons of predators using a bipod.

I have used mine, a 27" one with good results. Use it for shooting pigs at night when they are under the feeder, I sit close to the feeder and use a dim red light, the bipod lets me sit comfortably and wait till they come out.

Harris made in USA, and great quality.
Caldwell or Shooters Ridge, made in China (that Commie country). Basically copied the Harris, but use lesser quality parts and construction. No shocker there.
