I'm kicking around purchasing a Sendero II in 7mm rem. mag. Anybody shoot one? How's the accuracy in it? I've been searching for several days now, I had it narrowed down between the 700 xcr II, which would have been restocked or the sendero II, the xcr II weighs in at 7.35#, but after restocking with a hs stock, I figured it would weigh close to a sendero, so I'm leaning towards the Sendero. I had Sako greywolf in .30-06, but the rifle won't work with low rings, even after Sako sent me a second new rifle!! So, they gave my dealer credit and both rifles were returned to Sako, very disappointed in Sako. Sakosfix was to put my vx-3 40 mm scope in high rings, even though they also sell the low rings for the rifle. Anyways enough with Sako, this was only going on for over three months. How about those Senderos?

I shoot a vssf 2 which is similar except for obvious caliber difference, extremely accurate rifle. It is a little on the heavy side but I'm not taking it on any elk hunts either. But I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy one.

I have not shot the 7mm, so I cant answer your question on how it shoots. But I do have a sendero sf II in 25-06. If the 7mm shoots anything like my 25-06, it will be a shooter. Its my go to deer hunting gun.

when i bought my weatherby accumark i was looking at the sendero's also but just liked the feel and action of the weatherby. but the senderos are sweet rifles so i think you will like it

I have an older 7mm Rem Mag Sendero, not the II, but it can shoot!!

I have an older sendero too in a 300 wby.. Did a trigger job on it now and I am shooting shot 3 all in same hole at 100 yards... So if it's the same as the older guns it will be really great gun

I have two of the original senderos one in 270 win and the other in 7mm rem mag, they both shoot better than i can.

i actually liked the older one's better. I have one in 25 06 and shoots almost any load very accurate.
