Just got on a new lease around the Coleman area...was wondering if anyone could suggest some good places to eat around there.

The Way Station out on the loop(damn good breakfast).

The Corral(burgers, ckn fried steak, lunch specials)...back behind 7-11 where the stop light is.

Hildagos(mexican food)...we eat there often.

Best Fried Chicken...south side of town but awesome fried chicken.

Cool_Hand on here, he & his wife had Sara's Neighborhood.

There is Valera that isnt too far south (less then 10 minutes) and has Big O's & Grazin' Patch.
(grazin patch site http://www.twistedranch.com/home.cfm )
(big o's site http://www.bigosbbq.com/ )

here is a site to the chamber that list all the local places in & around coleman...few aren't there anymore though

I have not been there in 10 years, but if your lease is near Talpa, the cafe there had great home made pies, and decent plate lunches.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

If you get to Big-o's ask him where the fish are biting.

Brother in-law,

What are you comparing the food to? Maybe you are just not use to having all the different options of where to eat as you would in the city..... I would argue the fact that all the food in coleman is just not good.

Tried out the Grazin Patch this past weekend and the food was good. My dad and i both had the chicken fried steak and were not disappointed.
