Rocky's at academy are my favorite. And should be very competitive on price.

Not the cheapest but Chippewas are the most comfortable ones I have worn. No break in time for these and they last for a very long time. I bought them at Ben's Western Wear in Cotulla and they have an online store also.

I have no complaints in regards to my Justin snake boots.

I ordered mine through Sportsmans Guide as I had some discounts & a random gift card to apply.

I prefer the Justins. They are easier to get my big calves into and are very comfortable. I wear them same as any boot, to movies, the store whatever.

I think the site is snakeboots.com for best pricing

I had the same problem with my claves. I used my buddy's, sidzips with no laces, once once that were a size too big for me and like them so I bought a pair in my size for $120. When I went to zip them up they wouldn't zip past my ankle because my calves. I ended up using a long strip of velcro to hold the upper to my calve and bought another pair that were sidezip and has the laces. That's the way to go so you have the full contour thing going like it should.

I just received a circular from Bass Pro Shops where they have their zip up and lace up snake boots for $50 off. I have a pair of the zip up and they are very comfortable. I highly recommend them and that is a great price as they are waterproof too. The sale price is good until April 3.
