If they are feeding any corn feeders then corn will work also really well for coons.

Off topic! Does anyone know if coons have an awareness month like the squirrels do?

Off topic! Does anyone know if coons have an awareness month like the squirrels do? It used to be January. They were aware of the fur market and the Feb. deadline for buying them.

how the is this off topic? You're good. Marvin is saying that he's going off topic and then asks if there is coon awareness month like squirrel awareness month.

I would use something that fireants can't eat up or set your traps later in the day just before dark.

I had exellent results from jack mackrell in a can. Put in a dish soap squeeze bottle and let sit outside for a week.
This worked better than salmon or sardines.

The sardines idea sound close to what I've used, a cheap can of tuna...

We put ours out by the protein feeders. Grab a hand full of protein and drop it down in the back. Can't count how many I've seen do the headache dance on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
