Both are way over-priced...I know because of my credit card bill each month. If I can get the same thing at Academy, it is usually much cheaper. But, for quality hunting clothes, I like Cabelas the best.

Bass Pro, because that is where they usually get me gift cards for the holidays and birthdays......My actual favorite store to shop in is Simmon's Sporting Goods in Bastrop, La.

Cabelas, IMO, has surpassed Bass Pro when it comes to hunting.

Regardless, being from Nebraska I've always been a Cabelas guy.

The store in Stuttgart does.

I am a Cabelas guy only becasue that is the credit card I have and where I earn points. When I turned 18 and got my own personal card BP wouldn't give me credit and Cabela's would (I know it is the card company, but still). 14 years later with an annual spend over $25 grand the last couple of years I guess they made the right decision.

Will never buy another thing from Bass Pro after being hosed two years in a row on deer corn during their big pre-season sale weekend. They advertised low prices on corn and were sold out by the time we got there at 9am. I would have complained more, but there were guys who drove a TON farther than I did. I let those guys have the last say...they earned it.

between the 2 would have to be Cabelas.

but there are many other choices.

Cabelas. Bass Pro boat department tried to rip me off. 10 year financing on a 16k boat? Yeah right. Then the final sale papers they jacked up the sale price by 1800.00. Oops they say...typo....BS. I was born at night but not last night. Also, final inspection the battery was dead. Made them give me a brand new one. These jokers need to work at a used car lot. soap

Cabela's all the way..Because they have smoken deals on used-collector guns as well as tons of new guns. We have purchased quite a few guns out of their gun library over the years...
