Booking hunts on my personal ranch, I am in need to get rid of some hogs.
$100/day per hunter, two hog limit of any size. We have them from piglet size to upwards of 250lbs.
Lodging not available, but pearsall and uvalde are both 30 min away.
Last hog was killed in december, they are unpressered and come to the corn and tailgate feeders readily.
Nothing is guaranteed but as of now I've never booked a hog hunt and not had a hunter have an opportunity at a chip shot on a hog under the feeder. shots are from 60-110 yards, great for young hunters or older folks.
You will also see alot of whitetail, with the possibility of seeing axis, coyote (you can shoot these as well) turkey, and other critters.
I will be at the ranch to assist the hunters but it is not guided, i will clean and quarter your kills for $25/hog and cape a trophy for mounting for $60.
Call 210-421-8181 or pm me

That's funny you say that you "need to get rid" of hogs. Then you charge us to do you a service. I say good luck with that.

That's funny you say that you "need to get rid" of hogs. Then you charge us to do you a service. I say good luck with that. i could get rid of them myself, either by using a trap or me and three buddies could put a serious dent in them over a feeder. forgive me for wanting to extend an opportunity to others and charge a small fee to offset the cost of corn.

Thank you for making this offer to the forum! I think with so few places willing to let people hunt anymore-what you are doing is admirable.
Don't let the nay-sayers get under your skin. What you are offering is a GREAT deal and those of us who have paid more than $500 for a single hog, on a single hunt, realize what a good offer is. Your offer is better than good!
I just wish you were closer. If so, I'd be booked already!
A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.

I'm curious why you put a limit of two hogs or any limit for that matter?
It would seem if a person can shoot more than two, that it would be even better just to help put a dent in them because you won't ever get rid of them.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

how about illegals (mules) coyotes (the people kind) and cartel members....now that would be worth it...I got too many hogs on my pastures...I do take friends out there, probably could make some serious change charging city boys that dont get to see hogs like we do, but just dont want them around my cattle.

Good luck with it. Sounds like a good deal. Keep the discussion civil and cut the

Sounds like a good deal. Have seen some hunts that charge double that, plus a trophy fee. Nothing wrong with wanting to help with the cost of corn. And put a little extra in his pocket.

It would seem if a person can shoot more than two, that it would be even better just to help put a dent in them because you won't ever get rid of them. even though they are hogs, i don't want someone blasting into the herd trying to get as many as he can before they run off, wounding some. its very easy to be able to get two at one time. if someone happens to kill two hogs the first morning of a two day hunt, then an arrangement will be made with them. I'm flexible on multi day hunts, if they book for two days then i'ma let them shoot more than two pigs

More than fair. Anyone who thinks its not obviously has not had the pleasure and responsibility of owning / managing land themselves. Don't let the naysayers get ya down. You have a great location and should have lots of takers if the word gets out. Wish my place was closer to SA like yours.

I allow bowhunters, but since I don't bowhunt myself I don't have any blinds set up. I have one tripod that I can move over to a feeder and if you have any popup blinds i have excellent places to set them up

I might have to invest in a pop-up if we decide to come down. That would be fun with a bow.
