H.S. makes an awesome stock but Mc Millan is what you want if you can spend the extra money !

I have a H.S. Precision on my 5R Milspec and I really like it. As for comparison to the McMillan, I'm not qualified to say. I have never used the Mcmillan.

H.S. makes an awesome stock but Mc Millan is what you want if you can spend the extra money ! x2 I have an HS and it is certainly no slacker. It made a noticeable difference in accuracy. I guess it boils down to how much you're willing to spend. I just wasn't ready to throw down about $200 more for a McMillan, but I would have if money was no object on this build.

I have two mcmillans and two bell and carlson, and cant tell the difference from the two. Thats both ends of the spectrum.

I've always wanted a mcmillian swirly, but I'm not patient enought to wait months to get a stock, so I've always went with the precisions!!

I've always heard they are very worth the wait, but I have no patience, so I always ended up ordering precisions from stockys gunstocks!!

Mcmillan is the better for some reason according to the kool aid. I don't notice any better or worse from using an HS. I also take care of my rifles

I can see if a person wanted a mcswirily or a edge/graphite stock, then they would be quite different, but I don't know about the regular mcm glass vs. hs stock.

If you plan on adding detachable mag to it, I would go Accuracy International. Thats what I am doing. Mcmillan was cheaper, but ended up being more expensive after you add the kit to make it accept mags.
