I know we have a few in the community. A couple friends and I are looking to book a guided hunt for the opener. Must be flooded timber somewhere within a decent drive from DFW.

I know where there are a bunch of trees in the water at Lake X, does that count?
If you want the real deal flooded timber experience, go to Arkansas.

For true timber hunts you might wait till later. Opening weekend rarely provides the kinda ducks you shoot in true timber. Except woodies.
