I can shoot a 31, but found it more comfortable to shoot a 30 with the slight bend in my elbow.

With a long draw there are a lot of things to consider. Most importantly are the angles that change. The string angle will change drastically which in turns makes most peeps out there not be quite at the right angle. After you choose your bow you may want to look into getting a peep sight brand that offers different angles than most standard peeps. Most modern bows use the same string length for all draw lengths (Except Hoyt).
Take a look at the Axe 7 or the PSE Evo or the Vendetta XL, the Mathews Z9(not sure) the one for longer draws.
Good luck and when you get your new bow post it up for us!

I have a 31 in draw length, but I think i shoot 30.5 with a slight bent elbow like bjankowski.
I shoot a bowtech 82nd airborn and I HATE it. J/k I love it.

I havent don it in a while, but I used to be able to pull a 33" arrow off the shelf of my longbows and recurves. I got used a lot for speed tests because I offerd such a long power stroke.
I normally pull 31" when hunting. I only shoot recurves and longbows in the 50 to 60 pound range at my draw.

30.5 here... very limited selection in bows, i have had to wait for mathews to catch up the new models each year before i can buy. Every time they have a new model, Mathews usually wont have a 30+ in that model till the following year.. sucks one way, but on the other side, you get to here what people are saying about the bows over time. So in my opinion, the wait is worth it. MATHEWS!!!!!!!
