I washed all my hunting stuff with no scent soap and put them away in a scent bag. I forgot about my boots. Do I need to put them in the bag and if so how do I prep them so they don't ruin the other stuff in the bag???

I go through about 3-4 rounds of spraying the living $@%& out of them with scent blocker and hope for the best. I'd be interested to hear what other people do about their boots.

Only wear your boots when you are scouting or hunting and walk through some cow pies every now and then. Seems to work for me.

I don't sweat it. I hunt downwind from feeders, game trails, feed plots, etc.

I also seem to step in a lot of cow pies, especially before dawn. By now, I figure every deer around knows that I just stepped in some poop.

cow poop the best is when it is real fresh. It just covers the bottoms work like a charm. If you forget your scent away just roll in [censored] and you will be fine
