Shot two of my biggest hogs to date yesterday afternoon while on business up near Clarendon. Shot them both within about an hour overlooking a feeder. Both were shot with my model 70 .223 WSSM and dropped where they stood. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't use a smaller caliber to kill a big [censored] animal. It's all shot placement and neither of these were head shots. Both are estimated at about 375lbs. each. For reference, my gun in the pics is 41.5" long and I am 6'4" and weigh about 265lbs.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I believe your estimations are off in excess of 100 pounds per pig.

Nice pigs, really big pigs, even unusually big pigs, but 375 each? I've shot my share of 200 to 250 pound pigs and got to say - No way, not even close ....

Congrats on some nice hogs! They are big, but I guess a little lower on the weight as well.

The first one I shot I thought was at least 300. He weighed 180 field dressed and was about 4 feet long.
