Grumps Burgers North of town is great.
Stumpy's Lake Side Grill South of town on 144. Make sure you save your left overs to feed the fish at the boat docks.
Irby's Burger and Catfish, on business 377 North of the court house. You can also feed the fish there as well.
I really liked Stumpy's the best for a sit down meal and a drink.

If ya like Mexican, try Don Ayalas down by the dam. They have good food and great Margaritas. Also try Neisters on 377 if ya like a little German.

Hey Dan, consider takin' the Mrs on a stroll around the square also. Makes for a great Saturday afternoon. They have some of the coolest stuff in those old shops.

Mi Familia - it is at the 377/377bus split Grumps Burgers - on 377 before you get to the split The places on the square are mostly good but a little pricey. Babes chicken and Bisquets is there and it is pretty good. There is a place on the south side of the square on Park street (about in the middle, not on the ends). I can't remember the name of it but if I recall I post it. My office is just off the square on the north east corner. You can park there on the weekends if something special isn't going on (it is on bridge street next to the two attorney's office, James Danford, CPA).

Nobody mentioned Babes chicken dinner house, always the same excellent, before you eat go to the square and visit the "Wagon yard" lots of really cool stuff-no junk or froo-froo,just texas stuff mostly, harley stuff, leather couches, old magazines from the month and year you were born etc.
