Maybe they want to upgrade to the XDM. Nothing wrong with mine just selling to upgrade.

Prolly trading them for Glocks bolt

I am just messing with you, I did in fact do that but there isn't a single negative thing I can say about XD's.

I have two XD's, two glocks and have owned many others. Alot of the XD's I see for sale are .40 cal. I think alot of people do not like the recoil of the .40 compared to 9mm and .45 and may sell for that reason. The XD's have the cocked indicator, loaded chamber indicator and also a grip safety compared to the glocks trigger type safety. The XDM's also have a longer sight radius in any given bbl length than XD's, a match barrel and interchangeable backstraps. I think the XD's are less expensive than a glock, but the XDM's are normally higher.

I won't sell either of my XDs. My only complaint is that it's difficult to find someone to add nite sites.

Im trying to get rid of mine just bc its too big, went with a G23 to replace it. The trigger on glocks are crap compared to an XD imo

x2 on the upgrade.

I don't own one because of a compatability issue with my shooting style, but I certainly see why others like the gun. I think most try and upgrade to the equivalent XDm's. Can't speak much for other enhancements the XDm's have or don't have versus the standard, but it think that trigger is a noticable improvement and one of the top 3 or 4 handgun triggers I've seen.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I've had a couple of XDs and sold them. The first one I purchased was a XD9 Subcompact. Purchased it for a carry gun. Quickly realized that it was a brick and weighed too much for a sub-compact. Traded it for a Glock 26 and never looked back. Second one I purchased was an XD40 Service. Bought it to serve as my nightstand gun. I heard and read that XDs did not take well to dry firing and I like to practice. Traded it for a Glock 22 and never looked back.

Now I'm interested in the new compact XDM. For whatever reason, I keep going back to Springfield. I think it has more to do with my love of their 1911s than the XD/XDM model.
