Anyone out there have one? Found a good deal on one and was wondering how you like it.

I have the SUV tent that is similar. I've only used it twice, but I thought it was well-made.

Well, it is a tent. I had no problem till it got into the 20's. Just got snuggled into a sleeping bag on an air mattress.

I like the one I have. The only suggestion I have is to take a level and some boards to level the truck. Even if it looks level you won't know for sure until you are trying to sleep and end up rolling to one side. Also, if your truck is raised it may lean forward so you would want to raise the front tires. It is the same issue you would have with a shell or a camper. The only down side is that if you are moving alot it gets to be a chore to pitch the tent and strike it each day. I use mine when I am going to stay in one place and won't need to move the truck. The scenario where it is not so good is when I am camping and will need the truck to go to a different area to hunt early in the morning.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Used 3 different types on trips to ak, One with bed full of canned goods,
1st I stripped 6x6s foldouts trailor assembly off . Anchored it to bed rails, collapsed cab high, slept 4 good for 3 months Se. Ak. april 9th thru.july
2nd Was conventional fiberglass topper, guy added inner ceiling then cut an hinged roof to be raised over BEAR tall with screen sides slept 2 ok. At least lowered getting bear snacked worrying some camping in BC, an jackson hole,
3rd was in bed popup, set up every nite slid all over the place bed stiffeners were pain in axx, rain loaded bed an floor soaked up,, Be the last one i use, Metal transfer of cold to hide was bad
