This is a gun forum, right? I have firearms to hunt with but ever since I was a boy, I have had Daisy BB guns and still do. I am always on the lookout for pre-1950 Daisy BB guns in good working condition that still shoot good or may be easily repairable. Does anyone have any or know of anyone who does that might be interested in selling their old pre-50 Daisy BB guns (made before 1950). I am not interested in any of the later replica models. I don't get them to sell, I just enjoy having them and plinking around with them for fun like I did when I was a kid. I'm 61 now.

That's a good idea if you can find some. My daughter and I were looking at the daisys at walmart yesterday for her first and they are so cheap now.

Its funny this came up. I got my first Red Ryder when i was 7. I remember i could hit anything with that rifle. Soda cans across the yard birds from what seemed like a mile away and those little green army men w/ laser like precision. I bought one at walmart last year for my nephew and i dunno if quality went downn but that daisy cant hit the brad side of a barn.

Daisy fan here as well. Try the many auction sites, as these can come up. I also stay connected to estate sales for my area, and there's always the forums relating to any hobby group. One can even find something in Craigslist, if you look for creative wording, haha.
