I took in Colt Anacondas (44 mag and 45 Colt) as partial payment from a client. I had a general idea what they were worth, but need some help from some of the FFL holders or Dealers here on the THF. Client told me they were worth more than what I gave him credit for, but after doing alittle homework, I think they may have been right. Thanks for any information anyone can help with. Consecutively numbered Colt Custom Shop Anacondas 1) 8" 44 mag 2) 6" 45 colt

i am not a ffl but i go to almost all the gun shows in dallas ft worth and i would say 1200-1400 each you might get a bit more if sold as a pair to a colector because of the consecutive serial numbers. i am assuming they are new unfired for that pricing.

They've been fired (couldn't help myself), but they are super clean. Not a scratch anywhere.

Thanks Mudduc, I was seeing prices like that on comparable guns and thought maybe I was being unrealistic.

Due to grips and I can't tell on it for sure, but lack of polished trigger, I don't think these are custom-shop guns. Beautiful wheel guns none the less.

One thing to consider, while they are consecutive serial numbers form the custom shop, there TWO majorly differant that will affect price to a collector. If they where both 6" 45lc you would really have something.
There still worth a pretty penny but probally no where near what he was wanting them to be.

NIB would have been worth more, but I've never had a gun I could resist shooting myself

hey lost, I seen one today at a pawn shop, 6" 45 colt scrached up a well used, they want $699.00 for it, and won't take less! Great pistols can't blame you for pulling the trigger.
