I think I'm addicted to guns. I am in the market for a new gun, but not positive which one I want. I have been looking at the Henry .22 lever rifle, and also an AR-15 in .223. I know completely different rifles, but can only get one right now. Which would you get and why.

I'd get the AR (matter of fact I did). Pick one up before some knucklehead in Washington decides to ban them. I bought two lower receivers this week for future builds - JUST to make sure I have the "firearm" part purchased. Went with a Mega MA-TEN Billet for a .308 build and a Mega forged AR15 lower for a 5.56 build.

I think I'm going to go with an AR in .223. Looking for a good deal on a used one. I would try and build one but not never done that so i'm looking for a completed one.

LOL, I spent about 2 hours the other day and added up all my firearm/hunting expenses of the past year. I managed to spend all my 2010 budget and half my 2011 budget already.

I allow myself 1 gun a year and all the accesories that I want/need for that gun, I do this so I don't feel guilty. The rest of the guns I buy that year I just make excuses for so I don't feel so guilty. Usually come out ~$3,500. working on buying gunsafe #2, and that will not be factored into the gun fund, we will call that a home improvement/furniture fund.
