So I'm wanting to add a .22 rifle to the safe. Love the looks of the Henry Lever Action .22 anyone have any experience with them?

Awesome little rifle and a great company to deal with. I had a problem with the finish on mine a while back and emailed them on a Sunday night about 7:00. 7:15 I received an email from the CEO (or at least that was the reply addy/signature) requesting my name/address and they had a new cover to me by the end of the week.

My Henry has killed tons of squirrels, turkeys, coons, coyotes, turtles, and time. Bought it from Sig226Fan when I was all of 12 years old...

With a 4x BSA scope it will put every shot in one hole at 25 yards. I can shoot pecans off the tree at 50 yds with a good rest all day long...

I got one a couple years back and its a really nice rifle. The selling point on it for me was that it can shoot shorts. I live outside the city limits but have neighbors and the shorts are quieter than the hammer hitting the action.

The walnut stock is real nice and most of the parts on the rifle are actually metal. The barrel band is plastic but mine has stayed tight. Also the action is powder coated not blued which doesn't make much sense but I guess it saved them a few bucks.

Accuracy is decent but not outstanding. I've got a scope on it and it doesn't run with the custom 10-22 i used to have but thats totally not the point of the rifle.

I normally worry about cleaning rifles but I've cleaned the .22 once the action is still butter smooth and it continues to run quite well.

And best of all no nasty safety besides the half-[censored].

Very very good guns. Can't have a better customer service guy, the CEO literally answers emails and returns calls himself.
