I didn't know they contracted out their lower priced guns. I have a Kimber Ultra Carry and its really accurate. You can't go wrong with a Kimber. If you buy used, you should be able to find something American made in your price range.

Kimber PC II with crimson trace grips...... I would save for the Kimber but that is just my opinion! Shhhhhhhh better to be quiet than remove all doubt..
