I'm not big into hog hunting, but a buddy is dead set on shooting some with his AR. Anyone know of anyone who has an operation close to the metroplex that isn't $200 a day to shoot one of those filthy creatures?

Box it looks like you are out of Cross Plains which is almost 3 hours from Dallas - do you have anything closer?

Avidhunter has a post 5 post down and down in Bosque for about $100 a day. He always has pics of dead hogs to show for it.

I post up the specifics of what I'm looking for (an hour from Dallas) and under $200 and I get tons of offers 2.5+ hours from Dallas and $200+...........LMAO

We hunt both, we'll sit on feeders in the mornings and ride around mid day, then back on the feeders for the afternoon hunt till about an hour after dark, then spotlight till midnight. I'm booked for this weekend and next weekend, but I do have spots open for the 12th and 19th and some weekends in march. Give me a shout some time. I'll put it too ya this way, on a one day hunt we average seeing 15 to 40 hogs, sometimes more. Wish I could say my success rate is 100%, but unfortunately, I can't shoot for my hunters, otherwise it would be 100%. Haven't had a hunt yet where my hunters didn't have an opportunity to harvest an animal.

10-4, I'll skin and quarter 1 hog for ya, but the rest are yours to do, or I'll do the rest of em for $50 each.

Year round. Hogs are included with my deer hunt packages as well if you are thinking about that. Doe hunt packages and hog hunt packages are the same price. You can shoot 2 does and unlimited hogs with the doe hunt packages. Wish you would've come this year, had about 10 doe permits still left to fill.

well the guy who wanted to hunt the pigs found someone off Craigslist in Tatum, TX for $100. Had a nice piece of property in the river bottoms; however, none of the feeders were working and/or had corn so the morning hunt was wasted sitting in a stand. Finally decided to walk around and stumbled across a small group but couldn't get a shot. Rest of the day was spent wasted. Not a very professional operation - came home emptied handed. The only upside is we get a free pass to come back.
