I had plans to hunt W Kansas this weekend with a buddy. He had done all the research of areas to hunt, but just came down with the flu and can not go. My mother in law is in town and I need out.
If any one is up for a spur of the moment trip, let me know. I have never been to Kansas and have no set plans. Plan on just covering some territory and hunting some walk in areas. I may alsio have access to a 10000 acre ranch Leave Friday and come home Sunday evening. Costs would be splitting gas, hotel, $70 license, and whatever else may come about. Probablly cost $200-300 toatl. If any one is up for an adventure, PM me.

I am located in Wichita Falls. From My house to Dodge City is 329 miles. It's supposed to be 64 in Dodge City tomorrow and in the 50's this weekend. Should be some great weather.

Sounds like fun. I hunt just east of Dodge, but coaching kids' sports is in line for the weekend. Good luck!
