I spent $6.50 a 50 lb bag yesterday. Saw some at the Cisco, Brookshires last week for $7.50. Anything cheaper, better?

Yes the 40lb bags at academy for 4.99 translate to 6.25 for a 50lb. 5.99 for a 50lb is the best I've found. Kirbyville. The guy I spoke with at that particular feed store said his supplier expect the cost to come down. yeah down!

Can I go hunting now?

Paid $6.45/50 last Saturday in Childress. It's cheaper at the Wal Mart there but I bought corn at the Wal Mart in Childress twice last year and both times at least a third of it had been wet and I had to throw it away.

I sure hope it comes down. We're running 12 feeders and it's getting costly to keep them all going.

This past weekend, I paid a little over $7 bucks at "Fuller Foods" in west TX, back home in Colorado City, TX.

AFTER I bought it, I told The store mgr (my brother) that his corn was priced high. He said it should have been $6 something (I forget the exact price).

3.46/40 lbs at Walmart in Bryan. I put some out today it's it's super clean....if that matters.
I doubt we'll see the 2.99/40 like last year but the current price is not so bad. THe problem you have is when you need say 30+ bags. It's a pain to get any help in the good ole Wally world!
