how come the day after duck season feels like the day after your last football game of your senior year...or baseball or chess team match...feels like i'll never get to take another shot at a duck again! i know its pathetic but man im seriously hurting right now...makes me feel a little better knowing there are other duck crazies feeling the same out there

I know what you mean happens to me for the first week but then I start enjoying the sleep in on Saturdays lol! It will be here again before we know it!!!

It does suck that it's over, but on the bright side, I will get to sleep in for the first time since October this coming Saturday. I will also have a little thing called breakfast, not just breakfast food for lunch. Looking forward to it.

I miss it, but I'm gonna make the best of it. Dog work and fishing are on the menu. I wanna head out to caddo lake and do some kayaking, going there has been on my bucket list the past 3 years but never happened. I'm going to go paddle some cool places and do some camping, beer drinking, and run some trotlines.

Sort of bittersweet...I am glad to be able to sleep in some and not be tired all the time but the bitter part is my dog has progressed nicely since the beginning of season and I really would like another month mainly for her. But we will train in the off season and by next year she will be the dog I want her to be.

Yep, it is a tough deal. But there is always hogs, varmints, crows, crappie, blue cats, sandbass, and turkey!
This is the easy part boys, the really hard months are the dog days of summer!
