Thanks again for all the advice.
The groups are consistent, at 100 yard shooting from sandbags they are inside a tennis ball. I guess I was just thinking they could be better. I shot a few from a bi-pod with no rear rest and it was pretty much the same.

I have nuted with my 270 for over 30 years and always have relied on 130 gr noslers. Of course I reload so I can afford to shoot more. My fav load is 130 gr nosler with 54. grs of 4350 IMR. Good stuff from my rifle, consistant and puts deer down quickly.

Mark: which 130gr Nosler do you use? Ballistic Tip, Solid Base, Partition, Accubond?? thanks

Im a Hungarian hunter. I would like to ask for you one thing. I have got a CZ550 lux. .270 win. with Federal Premium 140 gr Nosler Accubond ammo. I would like to ask for you, which one ammo the best for CZ 550 in USA. I use my gun to wildboar hunting. I waiting your answer, best wishes George

I've also had issues with coreloc in my ruger, just couldn't get tight groups. Federals fixed the problem for me, I'm not super into getting really tight groups or anything, but remington ammo just "sprayed" a bit. I'm around an inch with federals, without super fancy lead sled or anything, just a good solid rest.
