Single starts dropping in. Buddy says, "I've got my 6, this one's yours." Well, then...if you insist. BOOM. Money duck folds and lands on his back. His feet up in the air, slowly moving back and forth as he dies, and I spot some jewelry out on the water. Didn't realize the reward band until the dog got back with the bird. Unfortuantely, the $100 reward band was VOID 8/06! mad Oh well, never going to complain about a double-band! banana2

Band Number: 1667-*****
Where bird was banded: Alberta
Date banded: 08/06/2002
Date of Recovery: 01/20/2011

Money is great and all but I can pull $100 from the ATM whenever I want....but I'm still waiting on my first band and a double band would be even better.

I didn't know that they had limits on the timeframe! Also, msot reward bands I've seen are green, did it wear off on this one? That's awesome! I've seen a few bands harvested first hand, but never a double banded bird.

My dog snores.

I had a buddy out in Suphur Springs shoot a "bling, bling" bird earlier this year was well.

I've killed A LOT of ducks in my day, yet the bling has alway's eluded me.

Yeah, actually it did wear off. There were 2 small spots of green paint on the inside of the band. Numbers were just barely readable, too.

Man I would kill 100 ducks for a double band. Oh wait, I did...
but I still don't have even one band!

Congrats
