For lease:
305 acres. 25 acres of dense mesquite pasture, 55 acres of klein grass waterway, and 5 separate cultivated fields.
We plant 130 acres of winter wheat, and 90 acres of summer forage haygrazer each year.
There are three stock tanks on the property. The largest tank is stocked with hybrid bluegill.
Wild hogs can be seen grazing most evenings and it is home to a good number of coyotes and bobcats.
Deer frequent the area, but this is not a DEER lease. A lot of feeding and patience will be needed to get them coming to your feeder consistently.
Although last year was slow, we normally have a good number of dove.
Quite a few ducks visit the tanks.

If you would like to leave a decent looking camper on the property, a place will be provided.
Currently, there is no electricity on the property.

Looking for a small group of clean, responsible hunters. Ideally 1-4 people. No 'per gun' price. Just $2000 for the place.

I agree, but at the same time, he could of said "awesome deer lease $4000", you just never know.

Im from up in that area, the county actually. It depends on what part of the county but MOST of the county is farmland. Pigs are plentiful but out of the 10+ yrs I lived there, never saw a "great" deer population or lease. If its east towards Throckmorton it has potential.

IF they wont return calls, then they arent really that interested in leasing it. IMO that county sucks for hunting. Mostly farm land, LOT...LOTS of poachers/road hunters, lots of camp thefts, etc.

How is it too good to be true if you read the details? It says 'but this is not a DEER lease.' He only has 25 acres of mesquite cover. Price seems fair for what you are getting or maybe too much if the dove don't show up.

This is exactly what I am looking for. Wish I wasn't in Iraq, and could get a few other guys. 4 guys at $500 each,.. that is a pretty decent price, if they do have the hogs, cats, and yotes..

Left lease in Haskell county a little over a year ago. Best move I ever made. Deer pop. stinks. Lots of hogs but that's about it.
