Not sure why this got bumped. The petition is basically a hoax and used for phishing your email address. But FYI. In recent months the CMP has been selling few hundred M14 parts kits. Of course a bolt, barrel, and semi auto receiver to finish it will cost another $1000 to $1500 so it is not that great a deal over just buying a new production M1A ready to rock. M14 KITS NOW AVAILABLE. We have acquired a large quantity of M14 parts and have assembled a few hundred Grade A kits which are now being offered for retail sale. Kit includes every semi-auto part except barrel, bolt and receiver. Metallic parts will show signs of use and may have some minor rust or pitting. Stocks may have some dents and dings and minor cracks. Stocks may be walnut, hardwood, or synthetic. Item number is PSM1AKIT. Price is $600 per kit plus $22.95 S&H per kit. Is this some thing that we the people can get or will brokers buy thousands of them then mark them up %100 and then sell to us??

This subject has come up before. The government says once a machine gun, always a machine gun. I do not think we will ever see these weapons (receivers) or parts from them.

I sure hope this goes through. It seems that most of the quality M1's have already gone through DCM, leaving just the lower grades. Hopefully we will start seeing M14's for sale through DCM!! I know I will be ordering a couple!!

Started in 2004 with no closing date and has so far collected over 29,000 valid email addresses. A bulk emailer, spammer's dream.
