Was out walking our place and found a fresh shed from a small 8 point. Anyone else finding them yet?

Found a few older ones, but nothing new.

Saw a small buck that has shed on my place-even found one of its sheds.
I am in east TX and never dreamed a buck would shed that early. Learn something new every day I guess....

I haven't found sheds, but I have seen 3 or 4 small bucks on trail cams missing 1 antler. I just figured it was from fighting. 10 west of Ft Hood, btw.

Our bucks are still rutting around as well, probably a while before they drop.

I was taking the tractor back to the shed this morning and I saw this 8 point holding his head like something was wrong with his neck. Then he shook his head and one of his horns came off. First time I ever saw one loose a horn. This afternoon I went by a feeder and found a set from another 8 point.
