Benelli has come out with the Super Vinci with the 3.5" chamber. I figured they would come out with a SBEIII but I guess they are running with the Vinci name because they are also coming out with a Vinci Cordoba and a Vinci Super Sport. The Vinci design seems pretty solid...so far I have not heard of any issues from owners...which can't be said about the Maxus.

I'll still be rolling with my SBEII for a long while but it's good to see another 3.5" option.

My Vinci has made it two seasons now with zero problems. Should probably knock on some wood now for this last weekend. I haven't had any need for a 3.5" but that's interesting they are continuing with the Vinci design.

Mine has only jammed once, and it was after a poor mount/first shot from a layout so I assume the inertia didn't get a chance to work right.

It has seen plenty of rain and mud and been fine from dove to teal to ducks.

I actually like the way they look except the shape of the trigger guard.

In most cases using 3.5" shells has very little to do with need but it's nice to have the flexibility. For goose or turkey hunting it's pretty nice to have that option.

Yep, I turkey hunt a lot in the spring. My son is gonna outgrow his 20ga in the next year or two. Could be good timing.

haven't you guys horse traded before?

you are supposed to give at least a day for them to think about it.

That MSRP is about that high for the SBEII w/comfort tech and camo as well. You can get it for + or - $200 less.

I'm sure it will be a few months before the Super Vinci is in stores.

Yeah I think it would compete against the SBEII...why wouldnt it. But the SBEII has been such a tried and tested popular gun I cant see them discontinuing it.

Jasb are you serious about really caring about getting a MODB vs max4? Your joking right?
