1st Annual Whitesboro Tx, Calling Contest
February 5th and 6th

Entry fees will be 20.00 per person, 1 to 4 man teams. There will be a 10.00 big coyote and a 10.00 big bobcat pot. There will also be a side pot of 5.00 for heaviest coon.

POINTS. 45 for Red Fox, 40 for Grey, 35 for Bobcat, and 30 for Coyote.

Limits. There is a 10 animal limit, but each team can only have 5 of one species.

1. Sign up is Feb 5th at 10:00am at Valley Creek Hunting Supply 34788 US Hwy 82 Whitesboro Tx.
2. The hunt starts at 11:00am Saturday and check in is 11:00am Sunday the 6th. You must be in the parking lot by 11:00 am Sunday the 6th or you will be disqualified. 3. There must be one person from your team present at the rules reading.
4. This will be a Texas only hunt. All hunters must be over the age of 18 unless they are with a legal guardian.
5. Teams that place in contest may be subject to polygraph and or questioning. All team members must be present at weigh in.
6. All money will be paid out to the top TWO teams 70% to first place and 30% to second. Big cat will pay 100% of pot, Big dog will pay 100% of pot, and Big coon will pay 100%
7. In case of a tie, the heaviest animal will be the tie breaker. If one animal in weigh off is wet the other animals will be wet prior to weighing. If there is a question on weight, the animal could be gutted for further inspection.
8. All team members must stay together while hunting…No splitting up
9. Only the team members are allowed to hunt. Land owners may ride but cannot aid in hunting.
10. Hunting is allowed by land driven vehicles only. (no boats, planes, etc)
11. No hunting from roads, No shooting across fences, and you must have permission to hunt the land you are on.
12. This is a CALLING CONTEST. Not a spotlighting contest. Animals must be called. No hunting over bait ( dead animals..etc)
13. NO POOLING OF ANIMALS. If there are any questions on integrity, or discrepancies there will be a panel of 3 judges assembled for a final decision. THAT DECISION IS FINAL.

#12 means that you CANNOTbe driving across a field, spot a animal and shoot. Or drive up on a carcass that has animals on it and shoot. You must attempt to call the animals to you. Thanks
