For those of you with Tikka T3s, are you using the factory rings? I'm contemplating buying some better ones as they factory ones feel a little cheap. Any recommendations? I'm looking at Talley Low rings possibly.

I like the Warne rings for Tikka best. The Tally's are pretty good too it seems like the Warnes are stronger.

Mine has the factory rings and I've never had a problem. However, I'll be changing rings soon so I can put my Leupold with a 50mm obj. on it. I'll probably change to Warne when I change the scope.

The factory rings are working on my 25-06.
I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, and too old to take a whoopin!

Some of the early ones had problems on the T3 Had one crap out on a 223
I have since used primarily Warnes and once Talleys Both worked fine and I just trust them more than the stock rings
The Talleys run a little tall btw... double check your math if you go that way
Med Warnes would get 50mm objective to "just" clear the barrel (perfect) Med Talleys would clear a 56mm

Thanks for all the help. I ordered the Talley Lightweight Lows so we'll see how they do. I looked at the Warnes but didn't like the side screws. For some reason they just bothered me. Also looked at the Dednutz mount but was worried about weight and clearance problems with a Zeiss Conquest. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.
